Discover our Program
Artistic Immersion
We provide numerous age appropriate activities and tools for multi-medium art creation for each of our classes. Each child is encouraged to explore their unique natural interests and passions. Through gentile scaffolding our educators help cultivate critical thinking in each child to grow their natural process of imaginative thinking. Each student builds a portfolio for all their proudest creations and will have the option to display their work in the schools gallery.
Music Exploration
All of our students are encouraged to explore various musical instruments through hands on investigation in both group and independent settings. We provide many activities geared to help develop students fine motor skills while helping engage and expand the creative side of the brain. All of our educators are trained musicians, artists or both and have a deep love for sharing their crafts through our immersive program.
Outdoor Adventure
At Ven Ensemble AES we have deep roots in many avenues of environmental sciences. We are proud to be home of various outdoor adventures, environmental awareness studies and extensive amounts of outdoor activities, whenever Seattle's weather permits. Our educators facilitate an early connection with the outdoors for our students to grow to practice environmental awareness and stewardship for our planet's wellbeing.
Locally Sourced Organic Nutrition
Atop of all the wonderful components of our carefully crafted program, none of these offerings would benefit anyone unless students have their basis of needs met. Thus we offer two locally sourced wholistic meals and one afternoon snack everyday. Each meal and snack is based off CACFP nutrition guidelines to ensure your children are accomplishing their daily dietary requirements. We have extensive training in various kinds of diets and offer many alternative choices that cater to vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, gluten free and many more upon request. We are a nut free facility and work with all kinds of allergies with proper planning. We encourage families to reach out with any concerns or questions they may have regarding your child's unique nutritional needs.
Cultural Integration
"Who are you?" this is a question we ask all our children and families. It promotes a deeper learning of self while enriching our creative communities bond. We value cultural diversity and are a discrimination free facility. People of all walks of life are welcome and encouraged to join our Ven Ensemble family. We believe all our students are special individuals and through their journey at Ven Ensemble AES experience many self esteem building activities. Exploration of fellow classmates and individual roots, will lead to celebration of all our differences, as well as providing many confidence stemming experiences. Expanding upon these ideals we offer studies about our society and important community roles, as well as learning how to functionally participate in a community setting.
