Meet Our Instructors!
Peneloppe Chanel
President, Director, Educator
My name is Peneloppe Chanel, A.k.a. “Fafa” A.k.a. “Luna”. I am so pleased and thrilled to partner with Vienna and Josh in creating our new program “Ven Ensemble Artistic Environment School”. We are a great team and looking forward to getting to know all your little ones and becoming a big family.
My beliefs: Trust and respect are key components for successful artistic learning and our community to thrive. Each child comes from different backgrounds and experiences. Children have different preferences, strengths and intelligences that tend to be complementary. As we work
together the more children and their families feel valued, the more they tend to continue to contribute and receive feelings of self-worth and self-confidence.
About me and my education: I love the outdoors, riding my motorcycle, hiking, playing with my dog and camping. I love to read, write poetry, embrace music playing & jamming with Afro Cuban Jazz beats on my Afro Cuban drums & electric bass as well as dancing. I am also in tune with naturopathic/herbal harvesting and healing tea making.
I was an orphan raised from the Fa. Northeast of Siberia. I grew up a part-time musher and graduated with a major in Dance and Musicology. I relocated to the South of France to continue my education. I earned a Master of Science in Educational and I/O Organizational Psychology, and a Minor in Ancient Civilization and Foreign Languages. Following my practicum and internship in Reggio Emilia and couple thesis at La Sorbonne, I had to travel to find a place to call home.
While world traveling, working, and performing, I developed curriculums, philosophy practices and
became a “Pedagogista” for Early Childhood and Elementary Grades. I have held many roles, such as Dance Teacher, Choreographer, Childcare Director, Executive Director, Founder of the Crescendo A.E.S, fully licensed and accredited with NAEYC and approved by OSPI operating from 1997 till
2013.
After that I became one of the State of Washington Star Trainer, and a PD Specialist with the National Council for Professional Recognition. I am very dedicated and passionate about my work and sharing with our wonderful families and educators and children.
My family: I have two adult children and an adorable one year old grandson. I will soon be getting married.
Vienna Sebasstian
Assistant Director & Cook
My name is Vienna Sebasstian. I am a blessed single mother of two beautiful kiddos. It is such bliss to be working with my own mother and richen our program with our loving family bond. Over the past year I have learned so much while having so much fun! I can’t wait to make more wonderful memories. It is such a blessing to partake in the learning and development in children’s lives.
My journey of life began in 1997 in an Artistic Environment School created by my mother, called Crescendo. Where I was first taught and then became teacher. I taught piano and choir lessons to many young children, as well as one-on-one tutor for math, reading and writing. I went on to babysit for many years, children of various ages. Later, in my high school years I volunteered many hours at local community centers for after school children programs, helping lead many fun artistic and environmental awareness activities around Ravenna and Wedgwood areas.
Family, arts, music, singing, nutrition, environmental conservation and restoration are part of who I am. I hold dearly onto these teachings and am excited to share them with future generations at Ven Ensemble. I strive to create a place where every child has the means and tools to explore and express their creative side while achieving a high standard of education. I can’t wait to share more about our upcoming organic locally sourced nutritional program at Ven Ensemble. Stay Tuned!
I practice naturopathy and herbal remedies as much as my life allows. I have a deep love for holistic nutrition and have dedicated many hours towards my own nutritional education. I am currently pursuing multiple certificates in early childhood at North Seattle College and seeing where my further educational journey leads me.
Life is a celebration of learning, but it’s better when we celebrate together!
